The Red Devils manager shades Harry Maguire over his current situation at Manchester United.

Despite his impressive outing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar which won United fans over and Erik Ten Hag, Harry Maguire still hasn't been able to retake his place in the starting lineup. His recent performance has resulted in fans demanding to see him play more.

Maguire spent the majority of the first half of the season uncertain about his future at the club after Erik Ten Hag made drastic changes around the club. Maguire was removed from the starting lineup and replaced by summer signing Lisandro Martinez at the heart of United's defense.

Martinez was mocked for history physical stature but gradually silenced doubters of his ability in games. The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner has formed a stern partnership with Raphael Varane at the heart of Manchester United's defense.

With Lisandro Martinez in top form, it has become harder for Maguire to get back into the starting line. Maguire's situation at the club remains under scrutiny as he continues to seat on the bench for the Red Devils. He hasn't played any minutes in the last two games for the club.

In the build-up to their latest game later today, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has hit out at Maguire for his role in his club situation. Ten Hag declared that "it's up to him" while acknowledging that Maguire's quality and attitude in training.
