Manchester United owners are ready to sell the club as they announced earlier in the week via their official statement on the club's website. They've hired club sales experts along with a legal team to ease the takeover process should they find a potential buyer.

The Glazers' decision comes shortly after they alongside other members of the United board decided to mutually terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract at the club following his recent criticism of them and the newly backed manager Erik Ten Hag.

Ten Hag has now called on the board to provide him with a new addition to his team to give more options to use towards achieving their goals. This action was more buttressed with exist of Ronaldo which meant that United must now bring in new attackers in January.

The club has been linked to a host of attacking options that includes Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, Rafael Leao of AC Milan, Victor Osimhen of Napoli, Memphis Depay of FC Barcelona, and Cody Gakpo of PSV, who is rumored to be top of the clubs' transfer list for January.

WILL UNITED ACCEPT TEN HAG DEMAND?

The exit of Cristian Ronaldo certainly means all burden of leading the team forward now solely lies on the shoulder of their in-form Marcus Rashford. But Ten Hag will be wise to not want to overburden the English striker who has just rediscovered his top form with the club. The Dutchman is already working on his other winger's form at the moment but demands new addition to his attacking power.
