Manchester United are ready for their latest challenge at Old Trafford later today when they face Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace. The visitors snatched a late point from the Red Devils during their first meeting in the Premier League at Selhurst Park which ended 1-1.
It was a game that put Manchester United in jeopardy against Arsenal as Casemiro picked up a yellow that put him away from the game against the league leaders. They lost the game 3-2 against the Gunners which dealt a blow to their unexpected title charge.

Casemiro returned for the Nottingham Forest game and was on hand to help the Red Devils win comfortably 3-0 in the Carabao Cup tie while also chipping in an assist. The Brazilian midfielder was crucial to the flow of the game for Manchester United.
The midfielder further exerted his influence in the following games against Reading FC in the FA Cup and Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup semifinal second leg. A brace from Casemiro again Reading set them on their course to victory.
In the build-up to the Palace game, Erik Ten Hag dismissed concerns about Casemiro's injury risk from playing too many games without rotation. Ten Hag reference how many games Casemiro played at his former club Real Madrid while admitting that he understands the risk and is willing to gamble it on Casemiro.
