The Red half of Manchester is gradually countdown the hours kept to the kickoff at Old Trafford later tonight as they continue their cup run against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup second leg. With a 3-0 away win advantage, there isn't much for United to worry about but not Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils manager has experienced all shades of emotions over the last few following actions on the pitch as well as off the pitch. Erik Ten Hag was happy when his team scored goals in recent games and furious when they conceded.

But he had a heartbreaking look recently that wasn't deniable despite Manchester United's comfortable win at Old Trafford. It was looked that spelled pain for a manager which was as a result of an injury to one of his key players in Christian Eriksen.

A terrible tackle from a rival player left Eriksen in tears as he went down on the pitch.  Erik Ten Hag knew at that moment that he just lost another player to another dangerous tackle. The Danish midfielder was subbed off immediately and taken to receive medical attention.

Why is Ten Hag guilty?

Speaking ahead of tonight's game, Erik Ten Hag address the injury to Eriksen by stating that he was disappointed about it and demanded that limits, as well as restrictions, should be set to protect players. He confirmed that Eriksen is out for the coming part of the season and could make a return in the final stages. United has already signed Marcel Sabitzer as his replacement.
