During his first-ever press conference at Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag made it clear what the club's ambitions and his were to the world and most importantly United fans around the world as they ushered into a new chapter at the club.

The squad was evaluated during the summer after he joined and requested new addition to the club he inherited from the previous administration. The club granted his request to the latter and brought in top-quality players from different clubs in Europe.
