Over the last few months, Erik Ten Hag and his backroom staff have meticulously worked on improving the Manchester United team. The Dutch manager laid down a bold rule of unity in order to have everyone committed to the same objectives.
When Ten Hag took over there wasn't a clear sense of unity within his squad. He sort to get players and fans to connect once again by encouraging players to appreciate fans by applauding them after every game. This habit was further championed by two major summer signings, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro.

Anxiety sweeps Manchester United fans ahead of the crucial game
The team gradually began to grow an identity that translate into their attitudes during games which galvanized fans to show them more support as they saw the signs of improvement. The impeccable performances of Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Casemiro further helped to challenge a united team.
Ronaldo's unhappy and rebellious situation at the club put all of Ten Hag's progress with the squad in jeopardy which led to the decision to mutually terminate Ronaldo's contract. That decision has now given Ten Hag more control over the squad and also increase the positivity due to the results they are achieving on the pitch.
Erik Ten Hag secured a new signing in Wout Weghorst to join the United attacking options early in the winter window. Weghorst had struggled in his front two appearances and was getting heat from the fans but finally scored in the 3-0 win last night. Ten Hag was pleased to see Rashford, who is the team's top scorer, wholeheartedly embrace Weghorst after the game to celebrate his goal as it aligns with his unity approach to building a team.
