Erik Ten Hag has been having a lot more to do off the pitch in recent weeks following the six weeks of season break till league resumption in late December. For the highly-rated manager, it has been a time to assess his team's progress so far.
The Dutchman joined from Ajax in the summer and was charged with the responsibility of helping United establish dominance in the Premier League and drive them back to the elitist level of their glory past under Sir Alex Ferguson.

So far the signs have been good under Ten Hag and there are results to back it as well as bragging rights against other rivals this season as they sit five on the log. The team's most recent win was away at Fulham courtesy of Alejandro's winner.
Though Erik Ten Hag has faced some tough challenges both on and off the pitch this season, the Dutchman has triumphed every time including his fallouts with now-former player Cristiano Ronaldo which eventually led to his exit from the club.
The United manager in a recent report confirmed that he is closely following his players' actions during this time, especially those playing at the ongoing World Cup tournament in Qatar. He revealed that he is in touch with them and is very happy about their performances which is a good message for the United team while looking forward to getting the best United team there is once the league resume in December.
