This season Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United has shown a magnificent turnaround to their football culture as they try to get back to the top of club football in Europe. The Dutch manager has been keeping to his promise of breaking Manchester City's dominance in England.
Years ago, Erik Ten Hag and his City rival, Pep Guardiola were both working in the dominant Bayern Munich team of 2013, with Pep Guardiola managing the first team while Erik Ten Hag built Bayern team B, which kicked off his managerial join to become a formidable rival for his former boss.
The managerial pair are currently on two different pedestals at the moment as Manchester United seeks to get back their bragging rights as the top club in Manchester while the Citizens continue to improve on the current dominance in England and push for European glory.
Both teams have played against each other this season with both clubs winning their respective home games. Erling Haaland ran riot in the 6-3 win at Etihad scoring a hattrick while Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes hit back in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford with a 2-1 effort.
In Manchester City's recent presser, Pep Guardiola revealed that he's a huge fan of Julia Roberts, a renowned actress but surprisingly he's supports Manchester United instead. He revealed that a few years ago despite Manchester United's poor form Julia Roberts visited Old Trafford rather than visiting Manchester City. He added 'Even if I win the Champions League, it cannot make up for Julia Roberts not coming to the Etihad.'
