Robin Van Persie keeps working with Manchester United to bring a player that could become the new striker for the team.

Robin Van Persie is the current manager for the Feyenoord youth team, and he was one of the protagonist in the celebration of the Eredivisie league title that the Feyenoord main team managed to win this weekend.

Feyenoord has been one of the relevations team of the season, they won their league and now they are sitting with their spot secured for the next season Champions League tournament, and there is a striker that could become a red devil for the next season, a striker that has worked close to Robin Van Persie and that might convice him to sign for the team.

His name is Santiago Gimenez, he recently arrived to the team and in his first season he was able to create a great impact on the team, in 30 games in the Eredivisie he was able to score a total of 15 goals and he also has 3 assists for his team, this was enough for him to earn his position as the starter.

Robin Van Persie has played an important role on the Feyenoord organization and it would not be wird to believe that he is trying to take the mexican striker to a bigger challenge that playing in Manchester United could represent for a player, his current value in Europe has gone up to almost 25 million euros and a team like the red devils could try to get the player right now that he is a cheap option.

Santiago Gimenez record

Santiago Gimenez recently record the most amount of goals for a mexican striker in their debut season in Europe, surpassing players like Hugo Sanchez and a player that is very well known at Old Trafford, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
