Manchester United could actually have some troubles to sign Kim Min-jae in the next transfer window, despite the latest news that put him on the team already.
Manchester United seem to be the team leading the race of signing Kim Min-jae, the player has been reported multiple times that he wants to play for a team in the Premier League, and on top of that he wants to play in a team that is going to have Champions League football, and that is why the red devils seem to fit like a glove.
Now there has been multiple reports that confirmed that the Napoli defender just received a new contract coming from his current team, and those same sources believe that if there is not a deal in the next few days with Manchester United, he could actually considere signing that new contract to stay with his current team.
It is a known fact that Kim Min-jae has a release clause of only 45 million euros, and that is one of the main reason why he could be the perfect defender to arrive to Manchester United, but it is also a fact that the release clause can only be activated in the first 15 days of July, and that is why Ten Hag could need to make a faster move to sign him.
It has been reported that Newcastle United are also looking to sign the defender, but that his salary could be one of the reasons stopping his arrival to the team, and now it seems that if he decides to arrive to a team not on the Premier League, PSG would be more than ready to take him on the team, with a salary that could even go above the 10 million euros mark.
