There is a position that Manchester United didn't hire anyone

Comparison with others positions in the field, Manchester United’s fans and followers are suffering with the right-wing market in the defensive zone. Old Trafford expects to reinforce this side of the pitch with a football player’s star as soon as possible.

Currently, red devils count with the 24 years old Portuguese Diogo Dalot and with the 25 years old English Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The first one returned from Milan in June 2021 and the second one was bought in 2019 by 55 million pounds from Crystal Palace.

Both are competing for the same position since the beginning of the summer preseason that is ending next weekend. It’s incredible that the executives didn´t put an eye on this awful situation that endures from some years ago. Since Gary Neville’s period that United doesn’t have a very well and reliable right defender.

The stats of both players aren’t so hopeful to see the future in a better mood. Dalot scored nine goals and made 19 assists in 187 official games since 2018, and Wan-Bissaka scored only two goals and made 15 assists in 205 official matches. The resolution is now from Erik Ten Hag, who will decide which of the two players will play against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC next Monday.

The right defender, a problem without solution to be solved urgently

According to the performance showed by these two soccer players, the main problem it that both aren’t to up to the standards of what the English club demands nor of what the Dutch trainer ask them every training and matches. For that reason, the huge and incredible situation here is that nobody will come to replace them or fight for that position and will be another year to pray not to suffer or concede goals on that side of the field.
