Erik ten Hag could be looking to loose one of the players that is being considered to have an importan role for the next season, and the fact is that the player is also keen on leaving the red devils.

Erik ten Hag believes that Manchester United need to have at least two players for each position that could come up at any given point to become the starter or to have as a perfect back up, and while Dean Henderson is considered now to be a good back up keeper for Manchester United, the players seems to be keen on still making the move to his new team.

The fact is that Manchester United are also open to make the request of Dean Henderson come true by letting him leave the team, but with his current injury it seems really hard to believe that he could actually be leaving Old Trafford in this transfer window, and now it seems that he would have a new role under Erik ten Hag for the next season.

While Nottingham Forest are also asking for the medical exams of Dean Henderson, Manchester United fears that not only he might not be able to pass the exams but also the fact that he could be looking to get more injured and even miss some more time even if he decides to stay with the red devils, and without those medical exams the deal won't be completed.

Dean Henderson role

Now it seems that Erik ten Hag has given up on any idea of signing a back up keeper for the next season and that could mean that Dean Henderson would assume that role for Manchester United, and he might be looking to restart the idea of him leaving once he over comes his injury.
