The fact is that the red devils are now looking to complete the take over process in the next few weeks or even days, and that has caused some problems with the fans.

There are now a lot of sources that believe that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is only days away to get his offer for the red devils accepted and that would start his process to eventually become the only owner of the team, and while most of the fans are dissapointed, there could be one main reason why the Qatari offer was not accepted even with the fact it was the best offer.

Sheikh Jassim was ready to offer a total of 5.5 billion euros just to buy Manchester United, and on top of that he had another 1 billion euros ready to just pay the whole debt of the team right away, a debt that the Glazers created and that they have lost over 900 million euros just in the interest of the debts on top of the debt itself.

And now “The Athletic” has reported that sources close to the Glazers have confirmed that the current owners of the team saw this offer as a criticism to their time with the team, and by accepting the deal they would be admitting the fact that they have made a lot of mistakes with the team and that was the main issue.

The same source believes that the Glazers wanted to just get the money for themselves and let the new owner worry about the debt, and while the Sheikh Jassim had this other idea in mind, that was one of the main reasons why in the final days they changed their mind to accepting his offer and now everything seems to be decided.

Sheikh Jassim offer

Some sources close to the Sheikh Jassim believe that they are still in the race and that the Qatari might be ready to send in a last minute offer, but it seems that could be really complicated and he might need to do it in the next few hours to get back.
