When Manchester United signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus, many predicted that his signing will be significant in United's signing power as so many players will be excited to play with the legendary striker. The likes of Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Antony Santos, and more joined United for the chance to play with the football legend.

But this was not the case for some players, as they had other priority reasons for joining the red side of Manchester, and of such case is Casemiro. The Brazilian midfielder anchor was a shock signing for the United fan base as he left the illustrious and current Champions League holders, Real Madrid for the newly formed United under Erik Ten Hag.

Casemiro is believed to have signed for United based on Erik Ten Hag's obsession with success, a key factor that lured him from his comfort zone at the heart of Madrid midfield over the last ten years to the new and exciting challenges in England. The 30-year-old has so far impressed at United with his most iconic moment so far being the late equalizer against Chelsea last month.

Casemiro shared his views on Ten Hag during the recent round of press conferences adding that he understands the process and strength that Ten Hag demands from the team. He has so far been enjoying the new challenges he came looking for in Manchester, and is gradually becoming an important part of Ten Hag's team.

HOW WELL HAS CASEMIRO BEEN AT UNITED?

Although it is still early days into his first season at the club, Casemiro has clearly shown the reason why he was a guaranteed starter in Real Madrid's first eleven with his dominant midfield control. His bullish nature to recover the ball or make a strategic tackle has helped improve United's overall game this season whenever he plays.
