Antony was very involved in the early stages of the game, which was very fast-paced. The Brazilian winger had a  few chances to help United light the game up with a goal but failed to either make it count or lack indecisiveness.

He provided lots of tricky but no end product as Manchester United wasted several opportunities. His poor form forced Erik Ten Hag to send on Alejandro Garnacho to get some more minutes under his belt as he gradually become an important part of the first team.

Why has Antony been in poor form at United?

There have been growing concerns amongst Manchester United fans as to why their record signing has been abysmal after his debut performance against Arsenal at the start of the season.
