Manchester United are gradually gearing up for their upcoming games in the Premier League after defeating the defending champions Manchester City 2-1 in their last game at the weekend. The Red Devils secured victory in front of their home fans.

The Red Devils have now taken up points off all their top six several during the early reign of Erik Ten Hag's managerial career in the Premier League. Manchester United has beaten Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Manchester City while drawing with Chelsea.

Ten Hag finally admitted the truth behind new deals

The club's recent win was powered by Erik Ten Hag's tactical acumen that saw him outclass Pep Guardiola in their second meeting as opposing managers in the Premier League. The Dutchman opted to rely heavily on the brilliance of his two Brazilian midfield destroyers, Casemiro and Fred in their derby win.

The addition of Casemiro to the Manchester United squad has tremendously improved the quality of the team. His ability to efficiently do the dirty work in the game has won United fans over since his arrival and Fred made a mockery of Kevin De Bruyne's fluidity in games as he totally man-marked him till the final whistle.

What terrible news after Casemiro and Fred?

The Red Devils are currently preparing for the game against Crystal Palace tomorrow but their major focus will be on the Arsenal game. Casemiro and Fred have four yellow cards apiece in the Premier League and another warning in tomorrow's game would mean a ban for the trip to Arsenal.
