Manchester United legend David Beckham saw his son being mocked during a London Senior Cup match on March 20. Beckham was among the fans at Silver Jubilee Park to watch his son's team Brentford B take on non-league side Hendon in the cup quarter-final.

Romeo Beckham was introduced in the 73rd minute with the tie level 1-1. A late Hendon rally saw them score twice and win a 3–1 draw. At the end of the match, Becks' son was subjected to brutal chants of Romeo Beckham, it's all your fault, fans reported on social media.

The post allowed David Beckham to quickly leave the field afterwards. He has attended a couple of games since Romeo moved to England from Inter Miami on loan. However, in the months that followed, Beckham takeover talks died down with the UK's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and a Qatari-backed bid leading the race for the club.

Earlier, various outlets reported on Man United legend David Beckham reportedly preparing to buy the Old Trafford club after current owners the Glazers put it up for sale. The owners, who bought the Premier League giants for millions of euros in 2005, are believed to have put the club on the market in November and want at least €8bn.

Romeo Beckham's impressive free kick

While at Inter Miami, David Beckham was left in awe after Romeo scored an impressive free kick at the 25th birthday of his Major League Soccer franchise. Beckham junior's sublime effort had fans talking, as he had all the hallmarks of his famous father's trademark playing pieces.
