Manchester United might be facing a lot of issues off the pitch at the moment while club football is on break, but their fans are finding reasons to be happy and joyous with their players' performance at the Ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after 14 of them made it to the Mundial.

Just as much as Erik Ten Hag is worried and concerned about the impact the ongoing tournament might have on his squad and their season as a whole, he is still very much delighted at the opportunity it presents his player and also their overall development. Fans are not surprised by the actions of these United stars in Qatar

With 14 players at the tournament, United stand a chance of having one of their players win the competition with their national team. So far the majority of the selected players have played some minutes in the tournament with only a handful like Diogo Dalot who are yet to play. Some have been the leading conversation at the tournament.

While now-former player Cristiano Ronaldo stole major headlines over the past week, it is his national teammate Bruno Fernandes who owns the spotlight at the moment. Bruno has been in terrific form for the Portuguese national team and was the force that booked them a spot in the round of 16 after netting a brace against Uruguay.

WHO HAS BEEN THE STAR OF THE TOURNAMENT SO FAR?

Stars are always made at Old Trafford and it should be no surprise that the person taking the tournament by storm is Manchester United playmaker, Bruno Fernandes who has a 4-goal contribution in the Mundial. His brace goals against Uruguay are complemented by his brace assists against Ghana as Portugal announce their possible bid for the World Cup trophy in Qatar.
