When Jadon Sancho picked up the minor injury back in October last year, Manchester United fans expected to see him back in action but that didn't happen until last night. Sancho made his return to first-team football after almost three months of being away on the sidelines.
The England International was brought on as a second-half substitute in yesterday's Carabao Cup game at Old Trafford. Sancho was delighted to be back with his teammates playing the game they love. The Red Devils fans were more delighted to have him back as three months was such a long time.

Sancho was sent away to the Netherlands shortly after recovering from his minor injury and to a personal trainer for a revitalized training program. The 22-year-old winger went off the grid to fully focus on his training by clearing out his socials.
He recently returned to Carrington in early January but was still been drilled by the backroom staff to ensure he was both physically and mentally fit to be back playing regular first-team football. Ten Hag promised he'd feature in last night's game and gave him a cameo in the second half, much to the delight of Sancho and United fans.
Despite this welcoming return, Jadon Sancho was still disappointed yesterday as his close friend and mentor, Cristiano Ronaldo was not there on his return. Both Sancho and Ronaldo joined Manchester United last season as part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's top signings. The pair are reportedly good friends. Cristiano Ronaldo left United in November last year after his contract was mutually terminated.
