Casemiro has become the star signing of the summer transfer window, with his transfer being more notable than that of Dutchman Frenkie de Jong, who was on Man Utd's radar. The Red Devils opted for the experienced 30-year-old Brazilian.
A player who contributes a lot in midfield, and who was a vital part of Real Madrid's run to five Champions League titles, the player is unrecognisable at Old Trafford. Although victory was the main objective, the summer's star signing played at a low level.

Today he missed many moments and was evidenced by the Scottish player, Scott McTominay, who is in a unique moment in his career, as he has been looking for a permanent place for a few seasons and is earning it with good performances on the pitch.
The other midfielder who has become an invaluable part of Erik ten Hag's approach is the Dane, Christian Eriksen, who is having an incredible season, full of minutes, and above all performances that have earned him a place in both the Premier League, as well as the Europa League.
Casemiro has been enthusiastic about his poor level of play, even mentioning in the week that he was comfortable in the team and felt at home. What leaves a lot of doubt is that he is nowhere near the level he is at now, the level of the player who was vital to the Real Madrid dynasty alongside Kroos and Modric.
