Last season the Red Devils brought back club legend Cristiano Ronaldo after his exit in 2009. Ronaldo had gone on to build arguably the best legacy any player can dream of, which was a huge boost to shaping the mentality in the Manchester United dressing room.
The Portuguese star was hugely backed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he delivered as asked by his manager with 24 goals across all competitions to help United's causes. He was getting the results but his teammates were having stingers till the end of the season.

The Red Devils board sacked Solskjaer for poor form and eventually signed Erik Ten Hag as their new manager in the summer, which has been the catalyst for several changes at the club. It took a while but Ten Hag's tactical changes began to pay results.

The Manchester United manager has won over the players with his tactical prowess as he developed the best system that enables the like of Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes to flourish along with their teammates. United are playing some of their best football ever since they let go of Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of last year. The Red Devils fans also seem to agree as they continue to through their support behind Erik Ten Hag with every game.
