This love story is not going as planned and United worry about this player's form.

When Manchester United set out to sign him in 2020, many predicted that he will go on to become a mainstay in future United setup but two years after things remain gloomy. Not even new manager Erk Ten Hag has been able to inspire a surge in form for the player that once thrived with him.

Donny van de Beek was assumed to be the luckiest of all United's players when the report confirmed that Manchester United was going to sign Erik Ten Hag as their new manager. A move that the majority believed will help the Dutch player find his form once again.
