The Red Devils had a summer full of signings and rumours about the team, they signed the highest amount of money in the team's history, £225 million to acquire star players to strengthen the team at Old Trafford, the board showed Erik ten Hag that they would give him their full confidence, they feel he will return them to the elite of world football.
It is a very competitive team that has gone through many stages in the short season, they have had many adjustments in the starting line-up of the team, in one of these stages they had the return of the striker who was on loan at Sevilla, a player who arrived as a luxury reinforcement a few seasons ago at the age of 19, he came from As Monaco.

The team had the need to use him in a part of the season where he was very effective, playing big minutes off the bench for the Red Devils. The player was scoring and assisting in many games at the beginning of October, starting with two goals against Manchester City in the team's scandalous defeat, as well as in the Europa League against Omonia.
Then came his big break of the season when he was handed a start against Everton, where he even contributed an assist to equalise the game, but a few minutes later he picked up an injury, the player suffered a muscle soreness that ended in a major injury that has sidelined him for a few weeks.
The player was about to see his contractual issue with the team's management, the player was going to be renewed by the Old Trafford club, but a painful injury put aside this conversation with the Red Devils' management, the player has not been able to recover in these weeks, he has not been able to give the level he had shown in the few minutes he had had in the season.
