Erik ten Hag is looking to sign several players to reinforce almost every position of the team, but this players showed that he is ready to be the starter for the next season.

All of the transfer rumours get to the players and some of them know that their position in the squad for the next season might be filled with a new player that Manchester United buys in the next transfer window, but when players do take those chances they put Erik ten Hag in a problem that he does not know to sign another player or give them the chance.

In this case it has been Victor Lindelof, the player that has taken every chance that he has got and in the game against Bournemouth he was able to make the most out of the game, where he was one of the best if not the best defender for Manchester United, in the first half Bournemouth decided to attack in the end of the half but he was always there to stop those chances.

The biggest rumour is that Manchester United already has a deal with a center back that goes by the name of Kim Min-jae and that could mean that he is going to be benched for most of the season if that deal goes trough, but with his recent performances he might be able to fight for that starting positon for the next season.

Victor Lindelof advantage

On top of being with the team for a few seasons now there is also the fact that he creates a great pair with Varane, the french defender is a little bit higher and can defend on top and Lindelof brings a little bit more of speed, so he could take advantage of those features and try and keep his position as the starting center back.
