One of the main goals by the end of the season is to secure the spot for the next season Champions League, but the team does not only want to qualify, they want to be able to compete.
Erik ten Hag understands the fact that in order to compete in the Champions League and for the Premier Legue in the next season they need to reinforce the team, it is a really long season with a lot of midweek games and you need a squad with a lot of depth that in case an injury comes you are able to continue playing at a good level despite that fact.
The team is already looking at several options to do just that and there is a player that recently asked his current team to let him go to a team that has the chance to play in the Champions League next season, and Manchester United wants to take advantage of that situtation, but in order to do just that they have to secure being in the top four position.
The player is Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, the argentinian wants to play in a team in the Champions League and it has been reported that Brighton are willing to let him go if the amount is the correct one, the team has put on a price tag of 60 million for the player but they are willing to negotiate with any team that presents an offer of arounf that area.
The recent news shows that he definitely wants to be in a team that is playing at the Champions League next season, and that means that Manchester United could be getting ahead in the race to sign the World Cup winner for the next season.
