The club captain of Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, Cody Gakpo sits at the top of that list and Ronaldo's recent exit makes him the top favorite to be signed in January.

The 23-year-old Dutch international has been in great form since the start of the season, leading his current club to the top end of the Eredivisie table. He was a late interest for the Red Devils in the summer but a bid was never tabled for him as United prioritized other positions.
