Manchester United have been improving all aspects of their squad over the last few seasons and started a new cycle of clearing out this summer after appointing Erik Ten Hag as the new club manager following his dominance in the Eredivisie with Dutch giant, Ajax over the last three years to revive United's pedigree in club football.
The summer transfer saw changes made to the attacking phase of the team with Rashford as the leading nine ahead of now-former player Cristiano Ronaldo, along with the addition of highly-rated winger Antony Santos who joined from Ajax.

The midfield saw the injection of some massive upgrades to the middle of the park as the club made some ambitious signings to drive them forward. Christian Eriksen, who played for Tottenham and briefly Brentford was scooped up as a free transfer and a bargain bid was tabled for Real Madrid's Casemiro which saw the move to Manchester.
Ten Hag did not leave out the defense at all as went straight to Ajax to snap up another key player from his former club Lisandro Martinez, who cleared all doubts about his quality with a couple of monstrous performances. Tyrell Malacia was also brought in as a smart left-back addition to compete with Luke Shaw.
With David De Gea's contract winding down to the final few months, United has so far kept out about a renewal and has rather focused on recruiting a new goalie for Ten Hag. Their latest attention has been drawn to current Spanish number Unai Simon to replace De Gea at Manchester just like he has done in the Spanish national team. According to reports, Athletico Bilbao willing be will to listen to an offer of around 30-40 million euros.
