Manchester United fans have been in a happy mood following the recent club statement which was released hours after the United sent their club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo was sent packing earlier this week by mutual consent.

The club had initiated legal actions against the 37 year old star over his recent media comments that saw him throw the club under the bus. The split incurred no financial commitment from either side, as the club saved up the rest of his wages.

Shortly afterwards United owners put the club up for sell much to the  delight of their fans who had been on this change of ownership issue for years. In line with the new development, another club legend, David Beckham has been linked with interest of initiating talks about the sale of United.

Beckham who spent 11 years at United, scoring 62 times is a well renowned business, aside his global popularity that cuts beyond sports. He's currently the owner of MLS franchise club, Inter Miami FC in the United State and has a well respected influence in the sporting world.

Although Ronaldo leaving is much to Ten Hag's relief, United fans should be excited about Beckham's proposal. The decision to sell the club brings an end to there constant demand for ownership. Beckham is believed to have the financial ties in America that can put in a strong bid for the club valued at 3.9 billion euros by Forbes.
