Manchester United has been dealt a huge blow to their attacking options this season following the club's decision to mutually terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract at the club flowing his controversial interview that set up a chain of reactions.

Following their summer spending, United felt it was right to wait out any chances of bringing in any other attacker in the summer after being priced out of a move for Ajax's Antony Santos. Their decision meant a close-off on all potential incomings till the future window.

The likes of Rashford and the youngsters within the club have been helping Erik Ten Hag snap up results in nail-biting encounters both in the EPL and their European club competition exploits. The lack of regular goalscorers aside Rashford has been a great concern for United this season.

With Ronaldo's exit, United are contemplating whether to invest heavily in the winter window to bring in an attacker, with one of their target now made available by his current club. Joao Felix has been on United's wishlist for so long.

The Spanish club is also ready to let him go and is very much willing to accept a January move with a 100 million euros price tag for his services
