Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United called it quit on this second stint at the club following recent actions from the Portuguese legend that shook the world and put the club in crisis mode after a great first half of the season.
Ronaldo had a two-part interview with Piers Morgan that aired after fiery teasers were released that took social media by storm. In the interview, Ronaldo bared it all out and addressed several speculations and controversies that surrounded him.
He also took clear swipes at the new manager Erik ten Hag as well as the club owners which compiled to the decision to have his contract terminated. Severally of his teammate have begun to have their say about his exit including his friend Casemiro.
Casemiro made the big move from Madrid to Manchester in a bid for a new challenge after such a trophy-laden time at Real Madrid. Casemiro stated that though he had to speak with Ronaldo, he is sure that Ronaldo made the best decision for himself.
He lauded Ronaldo's experience while adding that it saddens him to see his friend go but he will certainly wish him the best in his future. He jokingly added that he will be rooting for Ronald every time except when he placed against them. Casemiro is currently part of Brazil's World Cup team in Qatar as they aim for the title.
