Manchester United look set for a new dawn at the club after they let go of Cristiano Ronaldo earlier today after following his recent media actions that invited ridicule on the club's image and integrity. The club's decision is expected to send a clear message of Unity across the club.
One player who has most certainly embodied that so far this season under Ten Hag is Marcus Rashford. The English striker has turned things around drastically this season after picking up form and rediscovering his self-belief to help him play better.
Ronaldo breaks fans heart with open message
Power play move at United as Ronaldo is shown out
Rashford currently leads United 11 goals contribution this season, including against top six opposition so far. His brilliance in front of goal is down to him getting more playing time ahead of just released Cristiano Ronaldo, who has just five goal contributions.
Marcus Rashford has now added to his catalog of performances with a goal for England in their 6-2 thumping of Iran on Monday. He set a huge milestone with his goal for England. His goal was the third fast goal scored by a substitute at the World Cup.
Currently, Rashford will be hoping to play a more significant role for England at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He opened his account with a goal on matchday one and will be looking to add to his tally whenever he's called up by the national team coach. This is currently his best return of goals and assist in recent years and will want to maintain the momentum going forward.
