Manchester United players have spent the last five months working hard and diligently to adapt to the demands of their new manager, Erik Ten Hag since he took over the vacant position in the summer after the club's long wait for one.
The Red Devils were abysmal for the majority of last season despite the moments and flashes of brilliance that gave fans false hope that the team was turning things around. The club subsequently missed out on champion league spots.

The Dutch manager had to rush his transition between clubs so that he could begin his new chapter with United as early as people. He took his time to assess his squad and figure out how best to use the available squad while slowly bringing in his preferred players.
The squad had initially struggled with adjusting to the new system at the club which put them behind their rivals at the early stage of the season but have gradually grown accustomed to the playing tempo and demands of the new managerial setup before the World Cup break.
According to new reports, while speaking about his team Erik Ten Hag pointed out that they need to get back on track fast with the return to club football after playing for six weeks in different environments with different styles of play. He added that everyone needed to get back to the club rules and principles to ensure that any selected starting 11 are all on the same page.
