Manchester United stars receive a stern warning from Erik Ten Hag as league resumption draws nearer.

The first half of the season was a wrap for Manchester United after their game against Fulham in Premier League. They retained their fifth position on the table with the 2-1 win at Craven Cottage courtesy of Alejandro Ganarcho. 

Many fans have been amazed by the club's turnaround this season after they were humbled 4-0 by Brentford in their opening game. The club has come a long way from then to find itself within touching distance of the top four spots.

Erik Ten Hag who joined from Ajax in the summer has become more accustomed to life in Manchester and the demands of such a big job. His high-flying attacking philosophy has helped him win over more fans at Old Trafford as the season progressed.

Earlier this week, Manchester United recalled all their squad players to commence their preparation for the coming second half of the season. Ten Hag along with his backroom staff as well as the United squad have jetted off to Spain for a training camp.

WHAT DID TEN HAG WARN HIS PLAYERS ABOUT?

In his recent chat with the media, the Red Devils boss said that the players at the World Cup are awre that once it is over they have to come back and get ready for the resumption of their club competitions. He added that they need to be prepared for that even if they are dealing with a victory or defeat in the World Cup.
