Shortly after relieving club legend Cristiano Ronaldo from his contract obligations at Manchester United following his scandalous comments about the club's internal affairs in his media interview, the club released a new statement.
The statement which was approved by the club owners stated their desire to further develop the club by maximizing its opportunity and assets to the desires of the fans, which was basically to announce their decision to sell the club.

The Glazers have hired the financial group that helped the Todd Boehly consortium acquire Chelsea Football Club last summer in a bid to further back their positioned valuation of the club at twice the price Chelsea was sold for.
Media reports have linked a host of top brands including Apple, Google, and a few others with interest to acquire the club, and likewise a few billionaires like Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is also rumored to eye the prospect of owning the Manchester club.
While many have been linked with interest in purchasing the club, it is reportedly believed that the price tag of 6 billion euros is bit much for a club that hasn't been profitable in a while. Although new developments suggest that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is on the verge of submitting a bid, while Erik Ten Hag prepares for league resumption in December.
