United are getting ready to help England get through to the next round in Qatar following the form so far.

Manchester United club captain Harry Maguire was called up to England's World Cup squad alongside his teammates, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw to help England's quest for the title this year, following their heartbreak at the EURO.

Maguire, Rashford, and Shaw were part of the England team that lost the Euro final to Italy on penalties at home in Wembley. England was devastated as they were the tournament favorites throughout the competition but couldn’t win it in the end.

Erik Ten Hag brought new excitement into the United squad which has seen Rashford and Shaw improve tremendously from consistently playing. Maguire on the other hand has had to watch the team achieve success on the pitch without his input even when there were opportunities for him to have been given a start.

Nonetheless, England's head coach has backed him with consistent game time at the World Cup, which has graciously delivered so far with two clean sheets and an assist to his name. Maguire alongside Rashford and Shaw have been some of the most standout performances at the World Cup.

WHAT IS THE LATEST ON THE UNITED TRIO FOR ENGLAND?

With England set to face Senegal in the round of 16, Harry Maguire is expected to start and continues his defensive masterclass performance along with Luke Shaw on the left full-back side of the pitch. Rashford's impeccable form would certainly force Gareth Southgate to start him today against Senegal. He will be looking to add to his tally as he chases the World Cup Golden Boot award with three goals so far in the competition.
