Manchester United are currently facing their toughest challenge of the season as the club competition takes  break ahead of the six week World Cup event in Qatar. This situation which has been brewing for days left the club a lot of damage control to do as the find new ways of address the situation.

Earlier during the course of the week, Manchester United' star, Cristiano Ronaldo had his highly teased media interview with Piers Morgan released in two parts, which saw him shed light on a series of issues and situation surrounding him in the media and at the club as well.

Ronaldo plainly called out the ambitions of the club owners, the Glazers over their vision and management for the club, which is stated had been stagnant in development and innovations since his first spell with the Red Devils under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Portuguese star's criticism is believed by some to be a strategic exit plan from United, where he currently feel betrayed and disrespected by members of the board as well as his new manager Erik Ten Hag, with him he has had a several displeasure with this season.

The club at stated that it would only comment and take action after the interview was released when it was teased on social media. Following it release, United's reaction has been triggered with the club looking to take legal actions against the 37 year old, which could result in a long and expensive process for the club. A situation they would rather opt against, with a preference of finding an amicable way of terminating Ronaldo's contract with the club.
