Manchester United resumed training a fortnight ago as they count down to the return of club season after the long break of international football which was the reason the season was halted temporarily until now.

The Red Devils fans were delighted to receive the news that 14 of their first team players were invited to take part in the 2022 FIFFA World Cup that was held in Qatar at the start of last month and recently concluded, with Argentina crowned as the champions.

Most United players continued their top form at the Mundial to help their national teams go as far as possible in the competition till their exit at different stages of the competition. United was well-represented throughout the tournament.

The Brazilian contingent from Manchester United included all three first-team stars of Casemiro, Fred, and summer signing Antony Santos, who joined United late in the transfer window from Ajax for a club record deal.
