Manchester United have had several reasons to celebrate so far this season as their team gradually begins to come to life under the new manager. The rebirth of Marcus Rashford has been complemented by the transformation of the backline and tricky on the wings as well.
The summer signings have been impeccable for United as they have helped Ten Hag quickly integrate his style and football identity across the starting lineup. While Lisandro Martinez has marshaled the backline alongside Raphael Varane, his former Ajax teammate and also current teammate has been chipping into the final products of their attacking play.
He’s young and already being compared to Ronaldo, this is what he’ll do next
United wary of the consequences if they do this to Ronaldo
Antony dos Santos has quickly positioned himself well in the United attack alongside his mentor and teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to help United maintain their level. His signing might come off as too much of an investment for his output so far, he has remained focused on delivery on the pitch.
His return of five goals and two assists in fourteen games so far has helped him get a spot on the Brazilian squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. For Antony, the World Cup seem like the destined place for him to see off doubters of his ability as he looks to make an impact.
Well, one thing every football lover knows is that Brazil is one of the most blessed countries with football talents. The current setup is star studded with Neymar leading the line alongside veterans like Thiago Silva and Dani Alves. Although it will be a slim chance for Antony, it is best believed that he should get a nod in the third group stage game for Brazil.
