The red devils were happy with the result that they got from their visit to Anfield, but the fact is that the Liverpool team were really not that happy about their result they got.

Manchester United fans are aware that the team still has a lot of work to get done if they want to have better results in the next part of the season, but the fact is that now they might be looking to go ahead and put in the work and use the draw against the Liverpool team to boost the morale for the second part of the season for the team.

“He needs a reminder himself; he’s playing for a club that have won the title once in 30-odd years.” Keane said just after the game ended, and the fact is that the pundit feels that the Liverpool teams needs a reminder that they also have a lot of work to do if they want to make this an important era for them in the next years.

“I like Roy Keane, if he said that then it’s fine,” Van Dijk said. "He is Man United throughout and I understand he could react like that but I felt what I said and there is absolutely no arrogance in that. Everyone who watched the game probably felt the same. We move on. We had the opportunity and we couldn’t score and that’s the frustrating part.”

“Maybe (we were) trying to force it a little bit at times and we could have made a better decision but it was hard to break the low block down, you push, you push, you push and try to do everything in your power but it was one of those days we couldn’t find the right decision to score a goal." Van Dijk ended to respond.

Manchester United defense

The fact is that the result was obtained by the great work of the Manchester United defense, and the fact is that this really shows that the team is finally getting some real work done to really improve in the next few games now.
