Manchester United fans are on the edge of their seat as they watch the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar between Argentina and France after a marathon of matches. The final is expectedly packed with a lot of exciting action.

The France international was a doubt for the tournament after picking up an injury in the game, just about six weeks before the Mundial. He was full of tears in the game and was practically inconsolable as he was subbed off by Erik Ten Hag.

Varane returned to full fitness in time to make the World Cup squad for France and didn't start the tournament with the french team but gradually fought his way back into the first team as the French team progressed through the competition.

France skipped through the group stage and made its way through the knockout stage beating Morocco and England along the way to book a place in the final in Qatar against Argentina who beat Croatia and Netherlands.

WHAT IS THE LATEST ABOUT THE FINAL?

While Argentina versus France looked like a tough game to play, the result so far has been interesting to see as Argentina is cruising to the title with a 2-0 lead at the break. Raphael Varane and his teammates have found it hard to contain Lionel Messi' inspired  Argentina team and will be hoping that they can turn it around in the first half.
