Manchester United has been the birthplace of great legends, especially in the 1990s and early 2000s, when our beloved club dominated the Premier League and also triumphed in Europe. The vast majority of those players are now retired and some of them have tried their luck as coaches.

One of them is the great Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was a true legend as a Machester United player, winning six Premier League titles and one Champions League under Sir Alex Ferguson. The Norwegian striker scored 126 goals for the Red Devils and retired as one of the great figures at Old Trafford.

After his retirement, he decided to become a coach and made his debut in his native Norway, where he won two leagues and a local cup. After this, he got the opportunity to manage Manchester United but his experience was not the best of all. He arrived in the United dugout in 2018 and left three years later without winning a single trophy, but now after two years of inactivity he could get the chance to manage a Premier League champion.

Leicester interested in Solskjaer

Several reports suggest that recently relegated Leicester City are looking for a new manager and the name of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is strongly sounding for the position. The Foxes were Premier League champions in 2016, but will now have to fight to return to the top flight of English football.
