George Best is one of the best football players in the history considered by people who watched him played in the 1960s and 1970s. His skills inside the field illuminated the spectators’ eyes each time he played at Old Trafford. He was full of magic and the ball was an extension of his body.

People could appreciate of stars players like Paul Breitner, Liam Brady, and Johan Neskeens, who contributed to the amount of 13 goals. 


Apart from those mentioned former athletes, there was only one privileged who could change his t-shirt by the George Best’s. The former Dutch football player Johnny Rep was the owner of the last jersey that the main character used in his long professional career. Rep made an exception that day because he never was a t-shirt collector fan.

The FIFA World Cup 1974 vice-champion always admired George Best since the times that Best achieved the maximum glory with Manchester United. Nevertheless, time later, a night after Rep came back from a training, opened his bag and he didn’t find the precious jersey he kept from the Best’s testimonial match. Someone stole it and he never recovered. The value of that t-shirt was invaluable.
