Erik Ten Hag still wants to make signings before the transfer window closes, the manager has in mind to give depth to two positions on the pitch that he feels are still not as reinforced as he would like, so, during these weeks, more updates on the club's targets will start to come out.

One of the players that was in the sights to come to Old Trafford was Moises Caicedo, the Ecuadorian had interested the coach who at the beginning of the summer was in search of a midfielder, so during the month of June there were many rumours about whether he could be signed, however, one of the problems was his high price and as you know, the Red Devils have not had much budget during this preseason.

For that reason Ten Hag had to decide on Mason Mount, who would become their first summer signing, leaving aside Caicedo who has now signed for Chelsea for £115 million, while United are still waiting for their fourth signing of the season, who could arrive in the next few weeks.

Sofyan Amrabat is the manager's target for a medical, he has been linked with the Red Devils for some time and there have been promising developments that would indicate that the Moroccan wants to join the club, however, the board had to make a couple of sales before negotiations could begin.

Amrabat's value

Fiorentina are clear that the Moroccan midfielder will not remain with the club, so during the last few games of pre-season, he was left out of the squad as it was expected that he would soon join United, however, the transfer was put on hold for a moment as the Red Devils did not have much of a budget to pay the £30million the Italian club are asking for him, even so, hopes are still high that the move will be made soon.
