Manchester United was guaranteed a spot in the next stage of the European competition after coming second, a goal behind Real Sociedad in their group. The team narrowly missed out on the top spot, which meant they had to face a team dropping from the Champions League in the next round.
The red devil's faithful was initially stunned on Monday afternoon after their team drew FC Barcelona in the last UEFA competition draws for the next stages of the tournaments. United had hoped for a favorable draw against a less threatening team but as luck would have it they got a Camp Nou fixture.
