While it is obvious that Onana would have the first goal keeper role with the red devils this next season, it seems that Dean Henderson could be ready to stay with the team as well.

In the past few weeks it has been reported that Dean Henderson was looking to make a move to Nottingham Forest, mainly because the team was ready to offer him a lot of playing time for the next season, but now it seems that the Forest team is not ready to actually commit to the deal and the player would rather stay with the red devils.

A source that covers the news of Nottingham Forest has reported that the team has changed their idea and while the deal of buying Dean Henderson in this transfer window still remains on the table, it seems that they are ready to put some other offer that would make Manchester United rather keep the player on the team for the next season.

The deal to buy Dean Henderson seems to be far from getting accepted, the fact that the deal would only include a transfer fee of 10 million euros seems to be an insult for the red devils, and that is why the Nottingham Forest office has send a loan deal that would include the obligation to buy the keeper but until the end of the next season.

Dean Henderson position

Now sources close to Dean Henderson believe that the player feels not really appreciated by the Forest team that are not making their best effort to sign him, and that could change the whole idea of the keeper and now he could be more than open to the idea of staying with Manchester United and fight for that number two goal keeper position for the next season
