With Xavi's mind games ahead of tonight, Ten Hag has a master plan for game

In Xavi Hernandez's pre-match presser, the Barcelona manager sent some mind games toward Manchester United ahead of the huge fixture later tonight. Xavi had played against Manchester United several times during his days as a player and came out on top, winning the Champions League.

Xavi who took over Ronald Koeman last season has gradually galvanized Barcelona and reinstilled their footballing identity which is also the same process Manchester United is undergoing with Erik Ten Hag since he took over in the summer.

While Xavi has gotten the prolific Robert Lewandoski to lead his team's attacking line with 23 goals already this season, Marcus Rashford has been United's leading force this season with 20 goals already to his name. He has already hit the bench Ten Hag gave him at the start of the season.

With Rashford's ruthless form, Xavi revealed that Barca already has an Anti-Rashford plan in place, with Ronald Araujo tipped to be the secret plan. Araujo was reportedly tasked to play a similar role against Vinicius Jr in the last El Clasico game, which Barcelona won.

How will Ten Hag respond?

Though Erik Ten Hag is aware of Barca's threat to the team, the Dutch manager has plenty of options to make unexpected changes to his team's setup to get an advantage in the coming game. Ten Hag could player Weghorst as a number 10, which he did well against Leeds United while Rashford plays as the lead attack like in the weekend game.
