Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, & Diogo Dalot's call-ups have been confirmed by Portugal earlier today. Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw & club Captain Harry Maguire have also made the team for England. Casemiro, Antony dos Santos and Fred all make the Brazilian team as well amongst several other players.

Erik Ten Hag will keep an eye on these United stars going to the World Cup

As the season halts and the World Cup begins, Ten Hag says bye to this huge player

Erik Ten Hag's current number goalie, David De Gea is expected to be at home watching as his club teammate and the national team competes at the Mundial. Spain's head coach Luis Enrique most recently stated his desire to go with other much younger goalies ahead of the 32-year-old.

His possible lack of appearances at this year's World Cup adds to his list of worries and sad moments this season for the Spaniard, who has been having a battle for a new contract at United. With less than eight months on his current deal, everything seems to be out of place for him at the moment.

WHAT NEXT FOR DE GEA IF HE DOES MAKE THE LIST?

Well, at the ripe age of 32, there is extremely very little chance he will at the next one, which is that this is the end of his World Cup dream as a player should he fail to make the list. If not named, De Gea will be focused on getting his new contract from the club as he wants to see out his career at Old Trafford.
