The fact is that Erik ten Hag wants to get rid of Harry Maguire in this transfer window, and now it seems that the center back could have some other ideas with the team.

Erik ten Hag wants to make sure that Harry Maguire leaves the red devils team in this transfer window, first because they believe that they could get at least 40 million euros for the defender that would go directly into the Manchester United current budget to make more deals happen, and second of all because the defender is not going to be taken into account.

The fact is that if Harry Maguire stays with Manchester United, he already knows that he won't have any playing time unless it is completely necessary, that plus the fact that the defender has already been stripped out of the captain armbands, it now seems that the player could actually be looking to make a move for the team but he would be looking at all of the options.

Now it was reported by “The Daily Mail” that while Harry Maguire already has an offer on the table from West Ham, it now has been reported that the defender is going to take his time to wait and see if the Hammers are ready to offer him a bigger salary or if there is any other team interested before taking any decision to leave the team.

Harry Maguire salary

One of the main reasons why Harry Maguire is not looking to leave Manchester United is due to the fact that the player knows that if he arrives to any other team in the world he could be looking to take a massive pay cut from the current 11 million euros per year that he earns with the red devils evey year.
