Manchester United moved ahead of Newcastle on the league table as they moved ahead to third position on the league table. The Red Devils got a 2-1 win in a fiery game that saw a series of twists that included a penalty, team scuffles, and a nervy end.
David De Gea enjoyed a bright start to the game as he was barely called into action in the first half for the solid defensive work of Varane and Lisandro, who were well supported by Luke Shaw as well as Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The game was going as planned.
