Erik Ten Hag is looking to make some moves before the transfer window closes, including the sale of certain players that have been talked about for some weeks, as the club has not been able to make a significant sale that would allow them to increase their budget after the three signings that have been made.

Now the Manchester United board has put on hold talks with the two players that the manager is interested in signing, as they need to sell a couple of players, which are no longer in plans for the future, so their departure could greatly benefit the club, as it would not only have more money in the budget, but also more space in the squad.

One of those players that is practically a fact that will leave before the end of the summer is Fred, the Brazilian player arrived in the 2018 season at the request of the then manager, Jose Murinho, the Red Devils paid around 59 million euros for his signing, however, he has never been able to establish himself as one of the important options.

Now that Ten Hag is undergoing a complete rebuild, he knows that the Brazilian has not been able to prove his worth within the team, so since the transfer window opened, he has been one of the first targets to be sold, but the midfielder has not caused as much interest in a club as he has so far.

Fulham want Fred

The Brazilian midfielder is very close to leaving Manchester United, as Fulham have already shown a real interest in taking the player; remember that just a few weeks ago Galatasaray made an offer of less than 6 million pounds for Fred, after being rejected the Turkish club ended negotiations, so now the English club would be offering around 10-13 million pounds to sign him, so it is expected that during the week negotiations will continue.
